The bt.tn Button is the worlds most simple user interface – and it’s directly connected to the internet. Therefore it’s only up to your imagination on what you want to use it for. The integration is easy – just register a webhook on the btn.tn server which is executed when your specific button is pressed, and the signal will be forwarded to your own application.
Get started with the API here:
In this Github Repository, you will find a working application example from a previous hack, which demonstrates how to use a bt.tn to place a simple order with the commercetools API:
The commercetools platform (previously “SPHERE.IO”) provides a secure and fast API, which allows you to build and maintain your e-commerce applications such as your webshop or your mobile app using the languages and SDKs you like. It’s designed to give merchants the highest availability and scalability.

Contentful is a content management system that allows for platform-agnostic publishing on any kind of device. Unlike traditional web CMS vendors, Contentful separates content from presentation layer, structures content in a modular way, and delivers content via an application programming interface (API) in a developer-friendly format. This makes it really simple for companies to publish editorial content on smartphones, tablets, and any other new smart device.
Companies using Contentful includes Nike, Playboy, Asics, Teehan+Lax, Nasty Gal, and Jack In The Box. Contentful is headquartered in Berlin and is working with leading agencies around the world to bring the future of publishing to publishers, brands, ecommerce shops and any company that needs to reach their audience across platforms and devices. Leap Motion is an affordable next generation 3D Controller which recognizes and tracks hands, fingers and finger-like tools. The device operates in an intimate proximity with high precision and tracking frame rate and reports discrete positions, gestures, and motion.
You can simply plug it into your Mac or PC and use it instead of a mouse – or you can develop sophisticated Virtual Reality Apps.
We will have one Leap Motion Controller available at the hackathon – what will you build?
You can check out the documentation and download the SDKs for several languages and frameworks such as Unity / C#, Unreal Engine, JavasScript and more here:
The Parrot Bebop Drone is a robust and powerful quad copter drone that is suitable for outdoor and indoor applications. It comes equipped with a powerful 14mpx fisheye camera and has it’s own Wifi access point on board!
It’s also fully open source programmable via an API – you can develop apps for iOS, Android, Arduino, Node.JS and more, or for one of the Virtual Reality devices we have available at the ecomhack.
